I am a keeper of many exotic critters. I do not live in Sioux Falls but prefer to make the trip because my local exotic vet never takes their time to actually help my animal. At this vet, they got to know everything they could about my animal and provided the best treatment possible (and one that actually lasted!) I am beyond appreciative of how in depth they are and I hope they never lose that!

At Vital Animal Clinic, I got my pet in the same morning I called with no waiting. The staff there are very helpful and caring. Prices are very reasonable and Dr Lisa ROCKS!! Won’t go anywhere else!!

Dr. Lisa and her team are truly outstanding! I trust them entirely with the care and well being of our pets. They are often able to get my cats and dog in to be seen the same day of calling and their prices are very reasonable. Our 90 pound pit bull was often turned away from getting nail trims or told that he had to fully anesthetized for them. Vital Animal had no problem getting his nails trimmed up in 10 minutes. They are truly the best veterinary clinic in Sioux Falls!

We were new to the area and our cat hadnt peed in a few days and was pulling his fur out from our stressful move. Staff got him in same day even though I didn’t call until after lunch, which is unheard of in the Omaha area. We expected to have to go to the ER but the clinic saw us within a few hours of my call. We elected a procedure to help him and it was also a fraction of the cost than in Omaha. Thankful to have skipped the $1k+ ER Hospital bill. Staff stayed until nearly 6pm working on our cat even though they closed at 5. They also do acupuncture and laser therapy and we will likely bring our older dog in for treatments.

I tried this place out with my cat, and a kitten that had just been found. I loved the vibe so much that my husband and I brought in our 2 German shepherds as well and received great care for all 4 of our fur babies. I highly recommend coming here, their schedule and staff are awesome to work with as they work with you as well. Also, the pricing is very fair, especially compared to those out of town vet clinics.

We called a lot of places trying to get someone who would be willing to look at our Guinea Pig and they were the only ones who took the time to listen and allow us to schedule an appointment for the next business day! We brought the one in and they confirmed all was well and even was willing to look at our second one the same day – just to be sure. A little background – we lost one unexpected earlier this year – mainly because no one would help… Had we known about Vital at the time, I’m thinking we may have had a different outcome. Anyway, the Guineas do not live around here but were coming to visit and the first one was sneezing so we were worried! They took the time to listen, eased our concerns and made us feel at ease. Highly recommend!

Last week we took our cat in because nobody else could get us in, other vets said to take to ER. Vital got us in same day. Found out some devasting news that cat has liver disease. Dr. Lisa did not sugar coat anything, as vets shouldnt. She was straight forward with me on everything. Today we went in for a recheck and again was honest and straight forward with me. I thought about taking our sweet Elsa to our regular vet to be laid to rest but the staff here were very kind in this time of sadness for our family. I couldn’t imagine taking her anywhere else to lay her to rest. Thank you Dr.Lisa and vet techs for all you do.

I love the staff at Vital Animal Vet Clinic. They are attentive and listen to your concerns. The front desk is very friendly. They are able to see my dog in a timely manner. The services are fairly priced.

Amazing people and they really do care about animals. Have taken our cats to them a few times for shots and dental work. So much cheaper than anywhere else and such great vets!
